Bridge Street Studios have an Artist's studio space to rent. The space is open plan in an old 4 story stone grain store, we have central heating, 16cu.ft & 60ltr electric kilns, wifi broadband, website, phone, gallery space, class/workshop space and very reasonable rent. Mastercrafter

Big Mountain Productions are working with the Crafts Council of Ireland on a new series for
RTÉ that will crown one amateur craftsperson, the winner of Mastercrafter.
 
There are six shows in the series. The first five shows will place 15 apprentices on an
intensive two-week residential course in the discipline of their choice: Ceramics, Glass,
Metal (blacksmithing), Textiles (weaving) or Wood (wood turning) under the expert
guidance of the relevant Master of Craft.
 
A judging panel will adjudicate, reducing 15 apprentices down to five allowing just
one apprentice from each discipline to take a place in the final five.  
 
Show six; the grand finale will be recorded later this summer with the winner of
Mastercrafter announced then.
 
If you are passionate, creative, hard-working and you feel you have real potential to
